Poor quality means poor quality. Many smokers have started using e-cigarettes as a way to quit or replace them, both for their own health and to avoid disturbing those around them. The original intention is good, but unfortunately, some people have a very bad experience because the first e-cigarette they contact is of inferior quality. It may be from online shopping, and they will leak a hand of liquid once they open the package. Or they may be filled with the expectation that they will feel the taste of real smoke, as advertised, but feel it worse than smelling an unlit cigarette. Or when you're supposed to be using a cleaner and simpler product than cigarettes, you get an annoying burnt smell every now and then.
Due to the non-standard production and publicity of many e-cigarette products, it has also aroused attention and vigilance from all walks of life. A nascent market is flooded with inferior products, which makes many smokers have a negative view of this new tobacco product, which also brings obstacles to the technological innovation and industry progress of this kind of product.
As a scientist specializing in the development of e-cigarette products, I am very sorry that poor quality e-cigarettes are having a bad impact on the entire industry. Smokers may have the opportunity to access a new tobacco product to help them reach their goal of reducing or even stopping smoking more quickly, but poor quality e-cigarettes not only expose them to additional harm while they seek a reduced-harm tobacco product, they also raise questions about the ethics of the entire industry.
An inferior product may be deficient in raw material quality/performance/product quality integrity and other aspects, which may cause inconvenience to users and even harm the environment. In this article, I would like to specifically discuss three major inferior directions of inferior e-cigarettes and their possible impacts.
What's bad about bad e-cigarettes? How bad is it?
